      The Spectropod® UV functions as a micro-volume spectrophotometer, catering to 260 nm and 280 nm measurements for nucleic acid (such as DNA and RNA) and protein analysis. With its compact design and portability, driven by a lithium-ion battery, this instrument can conveniently be positioned within the laboratory, directly in the hood or wherever it is required.

APPLICATIONS

Nucleic Acid Quantification

The Spectropod® UV is designed for accurate measurement of nucleic acids, including DNA and RNA, at specific wavelengths (260 nm and 280 nm). This is crucial for various molecular biology applications such as PCR, qPCR, and DNA/RNA quantification.

Protein Concentration Determination

The spectrophotometer is well-suited for protein concentration measurements, offering precise results at 280 nm. This is essential in protein purification processes, protein expression studies, and overall protein characterization.

Field Research and On-Site Testing
